Miles Andrew Liner was an amazing young man born and bred in Berwick, Louisiana and had a heart of purple and gold.  He touched all those who knew him and with his passing, provided life to six individuals.  It’s quite fitting that his jersey number in high school sports was “6”.

We are so touched to be able to be part of the third annual Run for Miles and support the Miles Liner Foundation.  The 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Run will be held on April 25th and the proceeds raised will help his foundation fulfill it’s purpose of keeping his name alive in the community of Berwick as well as surrounding areas and the LSU community.  Each year, a $5,000 scholarship is awarded to a Berwick High School Senior.  In addition to this scholarship, $750.00 is awarded to a high school senior from Morgan City High School, Patterson High School and Central Catholic High School.
