The month of April is very significant to all of us at Patterson State Bank. Why? Because it is Community Banking Month AND National Financial Literacy Month! It’s a time for us to celebrate and educate; two things we love to do!

To us, Community Banking Month is not really about celebrating what WE do but about celebrating what YOU do. From local businesses who employ local people to non-profit organizations that impact our community and everyone in between – this is what we celebrate. We are honored to be the bank of choice for so many in our area. This gives us the opportunity to build relationships, get involved in their dreams, provide them solutions to meet their goals and support their efforts in making a difference in our community.

As community bankers, we share a passion for educating people of all ages and circumstance on the importance of budgeting and saving. Because of this, Financial Literacy Month is one of our favorite times of the year. We are really excited about April 24th, which has been designated Teach Children To Save Day!
