Bill Marin
Chairman of the Board
As a third generation banker, Bill began his term of the leadership legacy in 1977. As Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President, he is focused on continuing the vision, which has always been, to be responsive to the needs of families and business owners in our community. With over 40 of years of banking experience under his belt, Bill started his career as Assistant Vice President and today directs the marketing, public relations and business development efforts of the bank on a daily basis. Bill also supervises the current management team at PSB. He is a graduate of LSU School of Banking and in 2000 also earned his Series 7 license as an Investment Services Representative. Bill is married to Karen and is the father of five children: Robert, Toni, Katie, Bill and Samantha. In his free time, Bill enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and working on his camp or yard projects at his home on the Lower Atchafalaya River in Patterson.
Peter J. Lipari
President Emeritus
Pete began his journey at Patterson State Bank in 1971 as Cashier. In May of 1988, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer, a position he still holds today. Mr. Lipari attended Nicholls State University and is a graduate of Young Memorial Vo-Tech School. He continued his bank specific education and is a graduate of the School of Banking of the South, Louisiana State University as well as the School of Bank Investments, University of Oklahoma. Pete is a past member of the Rotary Club of Patterson where he has served as past President and Paul Harris Fellow. He is also a member and served as past President of the Petroleum Club of Morgan City, Inc. Pete is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson and St. Bernadette Church in Bayou Vista. He is married to Rose Ann and is the father of two children, Lia and Jacob. In his spare time, you can find Pete fishing for red fish and speckle trout in the Louisiana coastal marshes.
Bob Watson
Chairman Emeritus
Bob Watson has been a member of the Patterson State Bank family since 1966 not only serving as a Commercial Lender but also Chairman of the Board from 1977-2011. Bob is currently an active Board Member, Senior Executive Committee Member, as well as member of the Strategic Planning Committee.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Mr. Watson graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. His civic duties include; past President of the East St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce, past President of the Patterson, Louisiana Rotary Club, and past Chairman of the Board of Deacons at First Baptist Church of Patterson, Louisiana.
Mr. Watson is married to Jane Marin Watson, with who he has two children; Jason Watson and Ashley Carter, and four grandchildren. An avid sports lover, Mr. Watson enjoys spending his downtime watching football, playing tennis, and going to the gym.
Jason Watson
President
In 2011, Jason Watson was named Chief Financial Officer of Patterson State Bank. He is responsible for guiding Management and the Board in setting financial budgets and interest rates as well as managing the bank’s security portfolio. A Patterson State Bank team member since 2000, Jason’s past positions with PSB include Controller/Cashier (2000-2008), Security Officer (2005-2008) and Senior Credit Officer (2008-2011).
A proud LSU alumnus, Jason received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1995 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He also attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU where he graduated in 2005 as well as the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management from the University of South Carolina – Darla Moore School of Business Executive Education in 2012. In addition, he earned the Certified Public Accounting credential in Louisiana in 1999 and continues to hold that license.
A Berwick resident, Jason enjoys lending his time to civic duties and serving his community. He is a Director on the St. Mary Parish Library Board of Control (2009-present) and serves as the Treasurer of that Board. Jason is a member of the East St. Mary Kiwanis Club (1998-present) and has held the offices of Board member, Treasurer, Vice-President and President. He currently serves as a Director for the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce (2015-present). He is a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, LA and helps with youth education. Jason is married to Chontay Watson, with whom he has two children, Parker Watson and Abigail Watson.
Robert Marin
Chief Executive Officer
Robert has been on the Board of Directors at Patterson State Bank since 2000, and has been the Chief Lending Officer since 2006. Prior to becoming a fourth generation PSB banker, Robert practiced law in the federal courts of Lafayette, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, and Fort Polk. He received his bachelor’s degree from LSU in 1993, and his law degree from Southern in 1997. He passed the bar exam in 1997, and continues to hold an active law license.
“I’ve now had two separate and distinct careers, but the basic concept of helping others has always been the common thread for me. Getting together with our customers and helping them find solutions to their business needs—to me, that’s the best. I find that to be truly rewarding.”
Robert is an active volunteer in community youth sports, having coached teams in Dixie Youth Baseball, AYSO Soccer and Babe Ruth Softball leagues. Robert has also served as the board secretary for the Wedell-Williams Aviation and Cypress Sawmill Foundation since 2010.
Brian Thorguson
Chief Operating Officer
Brian Thorguson serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Patterson State Bank. He is responsible for bank operations, information technology, electronic services, loan operations and project management.
Brian is a 1991 graduate of Berwick High and an LSU alumnus. In 1995, Brian graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Risk Management. In 2008, he successfully completed the LSU Graduate School of Banking.
A lifelong Berwick resident, Brian enjoys partaking in local sporting events and giving back to his community through civic duties such as the Morgan City Rotary Club. When he’s not working or spending time with his growing family, Brian enjoys coaching baseball, playing golf, and attending LSU sporting events.
Teresa Rappmundt
Senior Vice President / Loan Officer
A Patterson State Bank team member for over 15 years, Teresa Rappmundt currently serves as a Senior Vice President and Loan Officer. She graduated from Morgan City High School in 1979 and attended Nicholls State University. She holds several certifications and licenses including insurance licenses for Life Insurance and Annuities, Notary License, and Banking School certifications.
Teresa has over 34 years of experience in the banking industry and enjoys being a part of the Patterson State Bank family. Teresa says, “The atmosphere created at Patterson State Bank is a place where customers are not just a name or number, but rather part of our banking family. I am thankful I have the opportunity to welcome our customers to be a part of this family. I have a passion for helping others pursue their dreams. Working at Patterson State Bank allows me to use my understanding of finances to make dreams a reality for my customers.”
Teresa is married to Paul with whom she has two children, Adam and Ashley. She is the proud grandmother of Michael, Isabelle, and “grand dog”, Jack. She and Paul are members of Holy Cross Church in Morgan City, Louisiana. In her downtime, Teresa enjoys spending time with family, traveling, taking “sister trips”, jeep rides, and photographing her adventures.
Blaze Landry
Senior Credit Officer
Blaze Landry began his career with Patterson State Bank in 2010. As Senior Credit Officer, Blaze provides financial analysis, risk assessments, and oversight of the loan portfolio to assist in the risk management and safe and sound practices of the bank.
Prior to being named Credit Officer, Blaze served two years as the bank’s credit analyst. He also had brief stints in the corporate risk departments at two Fortune 500 companies.
Blaze received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University in 2009 with specializations in securities analysis and internal audit. He is a member of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University Class of 2016.
Cindy Cart
Assistant Vice President / Loan Officer
Cindy Cart began her career at Patterson State Bank in July of 1980. She currently serves as an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer. With over 32 years of experience in the Loan Department, Cindy also has experience working as a banking teller. Cindy says her true passion is working in the banking industry and finds solving financial problems for her clients very rewarding.
Born and raised in Patterson, Cindy graduated from Patterson High School in 1979. A proud resident of Patterson, wife of 33 years, and mother to two grown children, Alyssa and Patrick. Cindy is also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. When she is not working to solve problems for her clients, she enjoys fishing and spending time with her family.
Jennifer Blanchard
Assistant Vice President / Human Resources Manager
Jennifer Blanchard began her career with Patterson State Bank in August of 2003. She is currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Human Resources Manager. With over 16 years of banking experience, she has previously worked in Accounting prior to her position in Human Resources. Jennifer has attended numerous continuing education classes hosted by the Louisiana Banker’s Association such as Banker’s School of Supervisory Training and the annual Human Resources Conference.
Jennifer is married to Mark J Blanchard, Sr. with whom she has two children; Christina Blanchard Trahan & Mark J Blanchard, II. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, Lucy and Abby, and reading.
Donna Thibodaux
Vice President / Loan Operations Manager
A Patterson State Bank team member since in 2002, Donna currently serves as Vice President and Loan Operations Manager. In addition to over 10 years in the banking industry, Donna has also completed many financial training courses including the Banker’s School Supervisory Training hosted by the Louisiana Bankers Association.
Born and raised in Morgan City, Donna graduated from Morgan City High School and moved to Patterson in 1983. She is married to David and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. When she’s not working, Donna enjoys being outside – either fishing or doing yard work. In her downtime, she also loves to read and travel!
Sunshine Rutledge
Assistant Vice President / Consumer Loan Officer
Sunshine Rutledge started working at Patterson State Bank immediately after graduating from Young Memorial Technical School in 1993 and has been part of our team ever since. Sunshine’s career began as Executive Secretary with her job duties extending into the loan department. In 2006, she then moved into her position of Loan Administrative Assistant and in 2011 was promoted to Consumer Loan Officer. In 2015, Sunshine was again promoted to Assistant Vice President and continues to serve her loan customers like a pro.
Sunshine is very active outside of the bank as well. As a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 4222 in Morgan City, she also holds the position of 1st Year Trustee. Sunshine has a passion for her family and Taekwondo. She is a 2nd Dan Black Belt, registered in the Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters. Sunshine is an Assistant Instructor at Silver Dragon Taekwondo Academy in Morgan City where her husband, Brian, is a 6th Dan and Chief Instructor. This active couple is working on a 3rd generation blackbelt with their son, Raymond, who is currently a preliminary black belt!
Sunshine obviously enjoys family time but is also a self-proclaimed TV addict and loves to read!
Trina LeCompte
Consumer Loan Officer
Trina LeCompte began her career at Patterson State Bank in 2003. She is currently serving as a Loan Administrative Assistant and Consumer Loan Officer.
With over 25 years experience in banking, Trina has worked in various positions such as Bank Teller, Customer Service Representative and Branch Manager. Trina says “ I discovered my passion for loans when I started working at Patterson State Bank in the Loan Department as a Loan Processor. I wanted to learn as much as I could about every aspect of loans which lead me to my current two positions. What I enjoy most is the smile on my customer’s face when I have helped make their dreams a reality. “
Trina Is married to Andrus with whom she has two grown children Andrea and Andrus Jr. She and Andrus are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, Louisiana. In her free time, Trina enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as relaxing and reading a good book.
